★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prime location.basement parking available for boarders.we stayed in 3rd floor..nice room with modern amenities and clean toilet.huge balcony where one can sit and enjoy the river view.though the river view is a bit obstructed due to the cerain design of the property. But not a very calm and quiet place as the property is bang on the D.H. road itself and express buses and lorries are continuously travelling across blowing horns.Too many tea stalls and snacks bars in front of the hotel making the area very chaotic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Travellers can take pause in their onwards journey or even they can take good rest in rooms with good view of the sprawling Ganges and the passing by barges. You can use the washroom only for a cost of only 5 rupees if you are not lodging here. Normal Bengali dishes available too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay was excellent in Sagorika Tourist Lodge. The staff members of cafeteria were exceptional with helpful, warm and caring attitudes. Meal was good and rooms well maintained. Even the front office staff during stay were very pleasant to interact with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on a long drive to Diamond Harbour and halted at our all time favourite Sagarika Tourist Lodge for evening snacks. First of all the renovated property should be a delight to any visitor with its chic makeover. The ambience inside and out was brilliant. As always the food quality was very good. We ordered fresh lime soda, fish fry, chicken pakoda, mixed fried rice and chilly chicken which were served in reasonably due time. Taste was superb. Service was prompt and staff behaviour appropriate. Although there were plenty of items in the menu card but availability of all items was limited. Overall it was a very nice experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best thing about this place is its food. Although the choices are not in plenty, whatever they cook and serve, they ensure that there is no compromise in taste, quality and hygiene. The rooms are significantly revamped. The river facing rooms in the left wing are surely worth giving a try, although a tad heavy on pockets. Overall, the place is tailor-made for a night's getaway

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great place to spend a night on a short trip. The location is fantastic - on NH 117 facing the river. The hotel has been given a makeover recently and is at par with some of the better private hotels in Kolkata. The menu is limited but the food is quite tasty and reasonably priced. The only problem is with the service - the place would be really good if the service could be improved. Overall good value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the left wing. In my opinion, left wing has the best view to the river. Our rooms were in ground level or at the level of the DH Road. The left and right wing has a difference in building heights and it's somewhat confusing to go from restaurant or reception to the left wing rooms.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable. You can spend all your time looking at the river and the busy road outside from the comfort of your room through the big glass window.
Geyser available. Filtered water is available for free and mineral waters for a price.
Car parking available at the basement.
Food quality in the restaurant is very good, but one has to keep in mind that restaurant staff is limited, though they try their best but have enough time in hand to get the dishes served, especially the complimentary breakfast.
Room service is available for food and beverages.
Staff behavior is appropriate.
Check in and out was hassle free. Overall a very appropriate place to spend a weekend there.
