★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ground is good and near to the main road i. e. Eastern Bypass. Well connected with sealdah, phoolbagan, kakurgachi and ultadanga. Its good for annual sports meet of schools in and around Kolkata. The only problem is that the tracks are of concrete due to which one will hurt oneself if falls while in a race.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Track and field -- both are extremely good. Infrastructure offered is of the highest standard. But security measures are a big hindrance here. Too much proactive gestures to ensure security and rigid regulations on the part of central forces and officers amount to public harassment and embarrassment. This is highly disgusting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SAI has two football grounds at it's Salt Lake campus but both the grounds are of sand base (not mud) which prevents good football.
