It's a nature lover's paradise and a perfect gastronomic treat for the foodie in search of homemade food away from home. The hosts are a combination of grace, courtesy, simplicity, care and concern. The warm welcome received is very rare to be found in this modern world. The pure and fresh air, the chirping of birds, the swaying trees, the long walks among the trees, the cool breeze, the smell of wet earth, the rays of the sun finding their way through the leaves...the whole experience is mesmerizing. It's a perfect place to spend the weekend and rejuvenate the mind and body to face the world. The main USP of the place is warm hospitality, awesome food, mesmerizing nature and a home away from home.
S	Sadhan Sarkar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't know about these fake n disrespectful reviews people are getting paid to write.....People who did not even come to the hotel at once...acting like experts pf hotel reviews ..A few days ago I visited this area and let me utter a single word..."flawless"Just for a quick reference ,I requested the manager to show the checklist for the last few months these reviews have been spreading...and to my assumable suprise ,non of the "expert reviewers"were guests of the hotel..... Let me tell you fake reviewers ..cyber bullying and hate speech is a crime especially for a quick buck..
A	Abhijit Banerjee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is very good, well connected with Kolkata - in the way to Jhargram towm. Newly inaugurated in Dec 20, hence quality of rooms, toilet, beds are in almost brand new condition till now. Retreat is spreader over approx 40 bighas of land full of Sal, mango and cashew tree. Rooms are scattered over the property in between the jungle. There are 5 - 6 tent houses also to stay. Though authority claims this is heritage place but I have not realise any heritage feeling anywhere inside the property. Food is too good both in terms of taste and freshness. Staying cost seems over priced and met our expectations somehow. 2 nights can be spent but it will pinch around 15K to 20K for a couple Overall experiance including the sights seeing is good.
A	Animikh Guha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly, just 3.5 hrs journey from kolkata. Wonderful approach way to the heritage Durga Bari with shaal trees on two sides. Had a lovely time with very friendly staff and well furnished and clean rooms. Spent 2 days in the African like tents with cozy interiors. Food is very much home like with prompt service by ever smiling service staff. Overall, a wondeful experience and worth the money.

An excellent combination of heritage and nature. quality of service, excellent maintenance of the property will make your stay even more delightful. we been here for couple of days at the year end 2020. I would strongly recommend all should experience this.

No water in the washroom, the geysers doesn't work. the washroom is very dirty. It is very expensive and charges for every extra mere things that cost cheap otherwise. The room tariffs are very high and won't meet your expectation. I have almost spent 40k for two days stay, thinking the service and the place would be excellent but it turned out to be a nightmare. Very poorly furnished. I won't recommend any one to visit here. Instead of spending money here, spend it in some 5-stars hotel, which could be easily affordable at this rate. Prices are not justified. Trying to make extra money with every small request.

M	Moumita Mukherjee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Placed over several acres of land filled with Sal, Mahua trees, the resort is a peace haven. The rooms in the main building are not extraordinary, but you will not complain. There are tents set up one side of the land amidst the trees. The place becomes almost fairytale like at night, when the string lights are lit all along the paths. The food is basic yet tasty. On a negative note, found the price a little too steep, especially for the food. However do ask for the barbecue. It was one of the bests I have ever tasted. As for service, I had no complaints since they were available and helpful all the time. Excellent behaviour from the staffs.
