★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at the property for 2 nights. The location of the property was really nice. Staff was helpful.
There is a scope of maintaining rooms. Sohan was helpful in arranging Sona and jacuzzi . The activities area for kids and adults could be improved by adding more games. Overall my experience with family was good here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in Classic Room 204 and 205 with my family which was 2 floors below the Reception at Ground level, experience was that of Claustrophobic feeling and breathlesness. I don't know why sterling is continuing with this block. Rooms and Bath Room are very small. Their other block which has premium rooms is tad better.
Food is hopeless, need to work on it strongly. Bakery section is disaster.
Still I will give u Room tips if u intend to take classic rooms preferable Room options are 503, 504 ( First Floor Level) , 403, 404 ( Ground Level) the best and lastly go for 303, 304 ( One level below ground level), rest are all hopeless. Above said Rooms are corner Rooms, slightly bigger with good views along with balcony. Premium Rooms are good.
Other option nearby is Hotel Twin Towers, cheaper and much, much better be it their Room, pricing, food, location, view etc facing just opposite to Sterling on the opposite side of Road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group stayed at Sterling Kufri for two nights. The hotel is right on the main road and is easily discoverable. Rooms were spacious and had centralised heater installed. Valley view from our bedroom was beautiful ! Staff was very helpful.
Food was good but cleanliness should be improved in the restaurant. WiFi was not complimentary at the rooms and we felt it was a bit costly.
Nonetheless we had a comfortable stay !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location and spacious rooms. Reception staff is ok but Restaurant staff is excellent. They take good care of you. The food is very tasty.
Hitel does need maintenance as wood paneling seems to be aged in room and corridor which is now broken at several places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bathrooms were too small, the rooms were slightly congested, not at par with other Sterling properties, which are quite spacious and spread out. The additional bed was very uncomfortable.
The food service was good, the dining area staff were very caring and supportive!
Kudos to each and every staff member in the dining / FnB area and their manager also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at this property for 3 nights and they were the worst nights of my life.
Firstly, the hotel staff was extremely rude and mean. Not only were they harassing children and adults, but also were using abusive language in front of toddlers. I would especially like to mention the person who was controlling the games department. He was extremely rude to children and was abusing them constantly. Out of the available 4 games, 2 were chargeable and had extremely high prices.
Secondly, the food was horrible. All three days, the food was pathetic. You won’t believe but the milkshake that they serve for breakfast had half a glass water in it, which made the taste horrible. There was absolutely no variety of food for all three courses. The plates which we ate on were stinking and had spots and leftovers on them. There was no staff that helped us while ordering. The food in the buffet was cold and when asked to warm it, the staff just ignored us.
Thirdly, the service was horrible. The staff present in the hotel, treated us like servants. We were 20 adults and 4 children below the age of 3. Even though the children were barely making ANY noise, the hotel staff kept on disturbing us and kept on telling us to keep it down. After coming to our room 2 times for absolutely no reason, they called the police over. They woke up all the guests and started accusing us for screaming and shouting.
Fourthly, it was my father’s birthday and we had planned this trip only for him. After eating the cold and disgusting dinner at the restaurant in the hotel, we decided to wait for midnight and cut the cake at 12:00. Even though the closing time for the restaurant was 10:30 pm, they started asking us to leave at 10:00 pm. By the time it was 10:30 we were fed up of the staff intercepting us. Even after requesting and pleading them, they won’t agree. They threatened us to leave or else they would close the doors. They left us no other option than leaving. My father’s birthday was ruined because of the hotel staff.
Fifthly, the blankets, pillows and bedsheets all stink. I could barely even handle the smell that the blanket made. Not only the smell but the pillow and blanket was covered on hair and lots of dust.
Sixthly, electricity kept going on and off. Regularly the electricity would go and would cause all the children to panic and cry.
Lastly, the size of the rooms are extremely small. We were staying in the highest ranked room possible but was so small that barely 5 people could fit in it.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. All the other 5 star or good reviews you read are just hotel staff who are paid for posting fake reviews online. Do not waste your time and money staying in this hotel! WORST HOTEL EVER! I HATE IT! ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 3 nights in January 2022. The rooms are spacious with an amazing view of the valley. Although there is not much to do in Kufri, we enjoyed the snow fall. The service is a bit slow, you have to call 2-3 times for anything you need. They have a good spread in buffet, but the chef needs to work on the taste. It definitely needs improvement. Overall it was a comfortable stay.
