★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a school, this a prison for the students, the teachers won't respect your child, they only care about the money you can provide, the teachers here have egos, big enough for only their own sustenance, in this very poor prison environment, your children will only learn prison politics for survival otherwise if they can't make your child corrupt they will turn them so weak, that they can't stand up for themselves. The teaching here is not even worthy of 3rd rate, they only hire inexperienced teachers for cheap labour. For monetary sake they won't even respect your child and blame them for it. The students only come here because they didn't get science, in their previous school or they didn't get in other better school. If want your child to even have bare minimum level of self esteem don't send them here, they will literally treat them as salves and if they can successfully make them corrupt they will give them a badge of 'prefect'. If you want your child to be corrupt or be treated like a slave send them here. There is nothing good about this school. However this school was not always like this, after the arrival of the so called vice principal, the school's environment has changed drastically for the worst, because she only cares about money and power, had a very bad experience, not worthy of recommendation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad school no encourgement is given to students who are slow learner. They only focus in result whether the students cheat during exam or not they r not bothered infact cheating is just ignored by teachers during exam.No extra curriculum is there,it is just producing rote students without brains and manner. Dont ever take your child to this school especially if he/she is good at something e. g painting, sports etc they will just ruin him/her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have liked to give it a seven star rating if it was possible.One of the best schools in Kolkata and Salt lake.Excellent Lab facilities.
Very caring and loving teachers who are always available to guide us anytime.
If you ask me i will say that all schools are good.It depends on how good and disciplined u yourself are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pathetic !! I am sharing my observation toward this school.
This is a school run by a family, Owner is principle and make the world go around her. Situation of faculties is very bad, I am a parent of one of the student, and go to school very often. They hire faculties at minimum salary, faculties try their best, but authorities gives so much of pressure on them, and so sometimes they break down.
School authorities raised the fees, without raising any benefits for students.
When we asked principal and other authorities, they started giving pressure on the faculties to provide extra services, without any guideline or facilities to provide such services.
My suggestion for The authorities "You must change the attitude towards the students and teachers and Enhance facilities for both of them."
And yeah, for Principal and Head Officials, remember its 2020, if you want to grow, you have to be updated apart from this "FAMILISM".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salt Lake Point School had a humble beginning with a few students in a small house at CA block of Salt Lake in 1976. In the year 1997, the school moved to its new building at CD-249, Salt Lake. In the year 1998, the school got affiliation from the ICSE Board, New Delhi.
It is a co-educational English medium school having Nursery, KG-I, KG-II and from standards I-XII. Academic session starts from April - March. Admission is granted strictly on the basis of performance of the candidate in the selection examination, based on written and oral tests. Age for admission to KG-I is 3 years+ and to KG-II is 4 years+
The subjects taught in the school are English, Bengali, Hindi, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computers, Commerce, Accounts, Economics, Business Studies, Arts, Music and Dance, Karate, Yoga, Games, PT, SUPW\. These classes are held to encourage co-curricular activities and creative skills of all students

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest schools in Salt Lake, Salt Lake Point School is affiliated with the CISCE board.
The classes taught start from KG-1 and all upto Class 12. Science and Commerce specializations are offered to the students in ICSE & ISC.
The laboratories are well equipped, the teachers are caring and qualified. The School arranges excursions, sports, exhibitions and functions for the students. The attached CD Park is used by the students for sports and games.
A great school overall.
