2017
The year began with a kick start at WHOS NEXT Paris where ready-to-wear garments were showcased in Jan 2017. Followed by Mercedes shop at Qatar - Qatar fashion show.
- The year still had more in store for Samant where the grand event of the year was marked as the Rail Memories show at the Rail Museum in Delhi where his childhood memories of travel were showcased. This collection was the talk of the show and was covered by all publishers.
- In April tussar silk garments were showcased at Textile India show at craft Museum, in collaboration with the Ministry of textile.
- An Indian Bridal Collection was showcased at La finesse in Lucknow where for the first time colours were introduced in Bridal wear by Samant Chauhan.
- Staying true to his commitment towards weavers he went to Bhagalpur from Ministry of Textile, to help weavers towards new development and completed the project with a show at Ahmedabad by IMG and Ministry of textile of India.
- Samant Chauhan prêt collection was showcased in Moscow, Russia followed by show at who’s Next , Paris in September 2017.
- In October : Kinnaure Queen extension was showcased at AIFW SS’18 and hand painted clothes on Kota doriya fabric at Rajasthan heritage Fashion week . - The year ended with a craft project for INDIA TODAY ART AWARDS . Where the garment were made as a mesmerizing installation .
