★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware of the owner if you are planning to rent K2 Block 2. She is horrible and will bother you all the time and not allow you to occupy the rented flat peacefully. She will do it all the time since she stays on the same floor. The high rent expected is not worth it.
She is also unjust and unreasonable. She treated my rental security deposit as her own money and would provide vague responses for repair work after vacating the apartment. She neither discussed the deposit deductions with transparency nor had any contractors called for quote before vacating the apartment. A shockingly and unimaginable amount of Rs. 50,000 was deducted from the security deposit without any explanation for tenant move-out repainting and repairs were grossly exaggerated. It's not that difficult to join the dots that this was not for repairs but for house renovation so that her son can move into the house at my cost.
Further to complicate the deposit refund, it was not a lumpsum balance refund but were made in installments of Rs. 25,000 for over a week.
