Have been worshipping this temple since childhood, you can feel the presence of Shiva's heavy energy here easily because of the quiet atmosphere and Jatadhari sadhus (long haired priests)

BICHKSHANA DURGOTSAV 2019...16th year celebration. The best DURGA PUJA of PUNE. The ambience is very Family oriented minus commercialization and consumerism. Enjoy DURGA PUJA rituals, MahaBhog since Mahasaptami to MahaNavami. MAHASASHTI...INAUGURATION followed by AGOMONI ANUSTHAN? The temple hosts this Puja by BICHAKSHANA DURGOTSAV COMMITTEE.

Hidden in the bylanes of NIBM is this Shiva mandir which was built by the Pandavas. Known as Sankat-Haran Shiv Temple, it was first discovered by Yogi Mushad Nath in the 90’s. Even though the temple is situated at the busy chowk of NIBM, near Brahma Majestic to be precise, once you tread up the smallish hillock, you’re greeted with tranquillity in an instant. The magnificent temple is spread across approximately 15000 sq ft with huge peepal trees in the vicinity showcases the grandeur of this ancient temple. Folklore has it whoever prays at the shrine is blessed and their wishes would come true. Once upon there lived a marwadi Shiv bhakt who saw Lord Shiva at the temple and was blessed with a gold brick and the man never returned. One of the incredible facts to know is that the dhuna (The holy ash kund) in the temple is always burning. It is said that the ashes are forever jagrut / wake and have immense holy energy. One would experience an overbust of holy positive energy when they meditate at the dhuna.
