Beautiful place and most cleaned station i have seen and very nice place to visit

It's a heritage station. Just 10 years age here was narrow gedge train santipur to nabwadip that via Dignagar, krishnagar. Now this route is converted to broud gedge but train not running properly. This station is just 500m from NH34 which is just walking distance. The main road is just adjacent to station. Here is 3 nos platform but only 1 no platform is totally shaded another is partly shaded. Shantipir to shealdah train available around 1 hour interval through whole day.

One of the cleanest rail station in west bengal. It connects Santipur to sealdah and Santipur to Krishnagar. It beside high road from North Bengal to Kolkata.

Trains to Kolkata sealdah railway station available every 90 minutes from here Electric Auto facility available here Toto charges are reasonable Juice,tea and snacks,newspaper are available here ,moderately clean,no trains after 10 pm to sealdah(Kolkata) Seating This is the last stop in sealdah Santipur line So seating is available from here always Moderately clean place Hotels are available with in 1 km Ghosh market is nearby

Neat and clean...2 ticket counters for smooth working. Many shops on platform. Rickshaw and toto stand just outside the station premise.

Shantipur Junction Railway Station[1] is a Junction railway station of the Kolkata Suburban Railway system and operated by Eastern Railway. It is situated in Shantipur, Nadia at the end of Kalinarayanpur to Shantipur loop line connecting with the Ranaghat–Krishnanagar line. Another Broad gauge route is connected to Krishnanagar City Junction railway station from Shantipur, which was narrow gauge track known as Shantipur- Nabadwip Ghat Light Railway branch, but now it is broad gauge line, opened in 1948.
