Two part review - "Sale" & "Service" TL;DR Sale - Great Experience Service - Very bad Experience (Damaged seat post) Cycle - Montra Backbeat 27.5 (5th March, 2022) Sale - The young man at the shop on the day of the purchase patiently and professionally showed the cycles in my budget. After spending over two hours at the shop I finally picked up "Montra Madrock 27.5". After getting the cycle fitted, I happily rode off towards my home. At a signal on the way I stood up on the pedal to accelerate and the chain ripped through the chain guard in the front. I walked back with the cycle narrated the incident to the young man and he was quick to get the cycle tuned and fixed. I was apprehensive to take back a damaged cycle and he offered to show me "Montra Backbeat 27.5" which was a little over my budget. After a quick discussion about the cycle, I paid the difference and picked up "Backbeat" after it was properly fitted. He mentioned about screws coming loose in the first week and also mentioned about the first service in 10 days. Overall a good sale experience, after a little scare. Service - The handle came loose in the very first ride, got it tightened at another cycle shop as I was no where in the vicinity of "Sardar Cycle Stores". Rode the cycle a couple of times after that day but it primarily remained parked. Went for the first service on April 14th 2022. The major issue was that the center spindle had come loose and the pedals were wobbling under weight. The cycle was with them for a day. Picked up the cycle the next day (it seemed that the cycle was in good condition) and did two medium distance rides in the next two days. The cycle remained parked for the next few days. Three days ago (2nd May) went for another medium distance ride and the spiddle came loose again. Went to the shop in the afternoon on 4th May, met the young man again, he was attending to another prospective customer so I patiently waited. In the meantime I explained my issue to the mechanic at the shop. He excused himself from the prospective customer and asked about my issue, he looked visibly agitated. Upon explaining he metioned it would take a day and I could collect the cycle the next day. I told him about the spindle issue and that it should not be coming loose this often (he agreed) ,further requesting if the job could be done the same day and I would happily collect the cycle in the evening. He mentioned about the lack of workforce and it not being possible. I politely requested again and this time he instructed his mechanic to do the needful, turned around and threw his spectacles towards the shop in a fit of anger. It was quite perplexing. I confronted him and he mentioned he was not angry at me but his mechanics. I don't own a business but I'm sure one does not display this behaviour in front of their customers. Anyway, I left the cycle with them. It's under warranty and they have promised one year of basic service. Went to collect it today (5th May) , the issues were fixed. The mechanic while raising the height of the seat post, scratched it from top to bottom, removing portions of the paint and post height markings. At this moment instead of getting angry I was genuinely very dissappointed. I asked him to cover up the scratches with black paint, he obliged and applied paint over the scratches with his finger. He didn't even wipe the dust off of it (the dust on the cycle in general had not been wiped) . I still have almost a year of warranty and service left with them and I genuinely hope my cycle stands the test of time. Unfortunately if the cycle needs a major repair I hope my subsequent visits are better.

Please dont buy high end or any cycle above 7k from them....my worst experience ever. I purchased 2 cycles...both had defect. When asked to correct it they tell you to drop the cycle and collect it next day. The next day they bring a new defect. Even to replace a handle they need 24 hours time. All the staff is untrained and zero knowledge of cycle repair. The owner just know to give big quotes, big talks and earn his profit. Better to buy from Decathlon. But after sale service and repairs to correct the defect is just very very bad. This shop is only good to buy small kids cycle...till date i was promised lock with my new cycles and everytime i go "maal bhiwandi mein he fasa rehta hai" travelling cost is more than the locks.

horrible servicing they will ask you to bring back the cycle after 15 days of use to tighten the screws and bolts and you will get the cycle back in worse condition. this happened to me twice when i bought 2 cycles from then. The first 15 days the cycle is in good condition but as soon as you give it to them for servicing they ruin it and dont even repair it properly...i had to give them my cycle 4 times when they finally replaced the brake that was not working...the funny thing is i didnt have an issue with the brakes...the brake issue happened after they tried to repair the cycle for the main reason i had given it to them.
