★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Satrenga is situated at a distance of 33 kms from Korba (Chhattisgarh), which takes about 1 hour to reach. Satrenga is a place of picnic, tourism and adventure, usually from October to March, there is a lot of crowd and movement. It is calm and peaceful here, time can be spent with family. I came here on 13th March 2022. Had a very good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was awesome for outdoor picnic. The only problem was the people littered the place too much with disposals, pouch and liquor bottles. The boat club garden was good but the dogs poo was scattered inside over the grass everywhere. They are charging ₹50 for entry of four wheeler and ₹20 for park entry fee but not spending a penny for maintenance of the place.
Visitors people should also need to take care of such a great natural beauty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suitable place for people living about 200 km away from Satrenga, it has some garden area and had resort, you can do water activities as well with some minimal amount, it is about 35 km from Darri dam, road is under construction in some areas, not recommended to go during night time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is known that Bango Dam has been constructed on Hasdeo River in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. It is the largest and the first multi-purpose water project in the state of Chhattisgarh. This dam is one of the largest dams in central India. Surrounded by hills, this dam has many small islands in the middle which add to its beauty.
The project has been prepared by the Chhattisgarh government to develop Satrenga, Buka and Golden Island on the banks of Hasdeo Bango as a tourist destination. This place is being developed for adventure tourism and water tourism.
There is also a variety of forest medicines in the forest area of Satrenga which are used as natural remedies and medicine. There is also a 1400 year old giant sal tree in this village. The Mahadev mountain here is made by seeing natural beauty. There is also a famous waterfall of Devphari near Satarenga. This enclosure also has many archaeological heritage attractions, of which rock paintings are prominent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful place to spend your day. The roads are a bit awful, but the view makes up for it. Go early on weekends to avoid rush and if you wanna ride the motor boat. Also, motor boat ride is a bit expensive, 1600 for 3 people. Overall it's a fun place.
