मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने पंचायत सचिवों के साथ हुए ऐतिहासिक अन्याय दूर करते हुए जिन सचिवों ने एक अप्रैल 2018 को दस साल की सेवा पूरी कर ली है उन्हें वेतनमान
5200 - 20200 + 2400 ग्रेड-पे दिया जायेगा।
श्री चौहान ने पंचायत सचिवों को ग्रामीण मध्यप्रदेश की नींव बताते हुए कहा कि अब उन्हें नियुक्ति दिनांक से ही दस हजार रूपये दिये जायेंगे। इसके दो साल बाद उन्हें 5200 - 20200+1900 ग्रेड-पे दिया जायेगा। जो बहनें पंचायत सचिव के पद कार्य कर रही हैं उन्हें 180 दिन के मातृत्व अवकाश दिया जायेगा। सचिव पति को भी 15 दिन का पितृत्व अवकाश दिया जायेगा। श्री चौहान आज यहां मुख्यमंत्री निवास पर पंचायत सचिवों को सम्मेलन को संबोधित कर रहे थे।
श्री चौहान ने कहा कि पंचायत सचिवों का सम्मान करना सरकार का दायित्व है। सचिव सरकार के महत्वपूर्ण अंग हैं। उन्होंने पंचायत सचिवों के लिये अनुकंपा नियुक्ति के संबंध में कहा कि अब एक अप्रैल 2008 से अनुकंपा नियुक्ति की पात्रता होगी। बीमार पड़ने पर 15 दिन का चिकित्सीय अवकाश दिया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पंचायत सचिवों के सहयोग से ग्रामीण मध्यप्रदेश की तस्वीर बदलेंगे। गांवों में वे सभी सुविधाएं होंगी जो शहरों में उपलब्ध हैं।

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, while removing the historical injustice to the Panchayat Secretaries, the secretaries who have completed ten years of service on April 1, 2018,
5200 - 20200 + 2400 will be given on grade.
Describing Panchayat Secretaries as the foundation of Rural Madhya Pradesh, Shri Chouhan said that now ten thousand rupees will be given from the date of appointment. Two years after that, they will be given grade-5200-20200 + 1900. The sisters who are working in the post of Panchayat Secretary will be given 180 days of maternity leave. The secretary will also be given a 15-day paternity leave. Mr. Chauhan was addressing the conference to the Panchayat Secretaries on the Chief Minister's residence here today.
Shri Chouhan said that it is the responsibility of the government to respect Panchayat Secretaries. Secretary is an important part of the government. In relation to the compassionate appointment for Panchayat Secretaries, he said that now from April 1, 2008, the eligibility of compassionate appointment will be. 15 days of medical leave will be given if you get sick. He said that the picture of rural Madhya Pradesh will change with the help of Panchayat Secretaries. The villages will have all the facilities available in the cities.
