★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the Head Quarters of South Eastern Railway. The building itself shows the the heritage inherited since British era. Apart from The General Manager, many of the elite officer's of the organisation has their offices here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the greatest architectural designs of the erestwhile British Bengal presidency. It is a heritage rich building. It is currently the HQ of South eastern railway zone and earlier it was called Bengal Nagpur Railway Headquarters.. Hence the colony opposite to the building called BNR colony. khidarpore market is on the way. A decommissioned engine is also present at the entrance which adds beauty to this office. The GM of South eastern Railways sits over here and operates the entire zone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place. This building was built by the British and served as the headquarter of Bengal-Nagpur railway, from which the bus stop gets its name i.e. BNR. Just after entering you can see a locomotive plinthed in the left hand. This is the heritage railway steam engine BNR queen. Also if you enter further you can see the BNR house where once lived nawab wajed Ali shah of audh. This man is responsible for bringing Biriyani in kolkata.
