★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I was younger I couldn't understand a word what they said and now, I wish I could pick up more. Loved, loved what they have done with the new space. It's inviting, interesting and the books are a pure delight, aesthetically as well. Would definitely be on Calcutta visit list henceforth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great collection of books that are quite difficult to get by. A good number of books of poetry and translations of books, in languages like French, German and Bengali, are available. The only gripe I have is the timing - keeping it open till 8 in the evening would be advisable. Overall, a pleasant experience in a beautiful bookstore.
