For a Turf Club, they keep having internecine Turf Wars between the members & between the Club & State Govt. Must say the place is well maintained & clean. They have rocking parties on weekends. Access to the Club is restricted & highly sought after.

BARI is the best place to learn horse riding, it’s run by Aslam Kader who’s a retired Indian winner Jockey. The weather and true climate of Namma Bengaluru can be experienced here. Get dressed fancy and enjoy their Derby seasons in the premium lounge!

The Bangalore Turf Club is one of the six major horse racing organizations in India. It is situated in the modern metropolis of Bangalore, the “Silicon Valley of India” and the capital of the south Indian state of Karnataka. Officially known as Bengaluru, this inland mega-city with more than 10 million people is located on the Deccan Plateau in the Indian Peninsula. The Club and its associated race course lie at the heart of this modern city. It is close to Chickpete and Lakshmanpuri. The Race Course Road, an important arterial road, links the Turf Club to the rest of the city. The Bangalore Turf Club’s location at the heart of the city does have its drawbacks. Space is at a premium, and so the whole complex is housed inside an area a shade above 85 acres. Despite these limits, the Bangalore Race Course is fully equipped. This includes stabling for a thousand horses, multiple training tracks, an equine swimming pool, hospital, training schools and even a riding school for amateurs. Bangalore Race Course is famous for its oval-shaped track. The main surface of the race track is mostly turf, with a smaller dirt track on the inside ring. It is a right-handed course, with some challenging features. The total length of the track is around 1,950m or around 6,397.6 feet. What truly sets the track apart are the various gradients that run along its distance. These include downhill sections that dip by 13 meters (43 feet) before climbing another 11.5 meters (38 feet). Add to that four sharp curves and a very short straight and you have one of the most thrilling race tracks in India. The undulating surface presents a lively challenge to even the most experienced jockeys and steeds. It demands  both speed and endurance to thrive in the races at Bangalore. Man and animal alike have to be at their very best to eke out a win on this storied track.

If you are a racing enthusiast and want to visit the BTC premises, please avoid doing so, they charge exorbitant amount as entry fee (350 on off course days and 500 on course days) they don't even provide you with a half a litre water bottle for that amount.. The ambience inside is OK though, food is nothing to write about.. Overall nothing to enjoy about except may be if you win..

?Race Course ? Full greeny area with Dusty Race Track where Horse ?Race are conducted , many people come for Betting and it's up to there Business ? Good place to visit in Bangalore ❤️ inside ? Horses are maintained and provided quality food and trained well for race and there are more than 1000 ? but no one can visit there until and unless permission are given are there are restricted area inside the track, many Horse riders (experts) are inside and must visit this place in a Bangalore ?❤️

Nice place to spend a day with friends. However the infrastructure needs a bit of modernization. The corridor, gallery, walls and even the arch of the entrance looks more like that of an old railway station than that of a race course. The complementary food with the ticket is of decent quality. If you are visiting this place in a car, try to reach early because finding a parking space in this vicinity is a tough task.

Just visited for an event, conducted by our own company, Most of the horses are thoroughbreds the arenas are beautiful and big. The riding classes are good for practise but I would'nt recommend them for learning to ride.

The view from members stand is breathtaking, specially the evening sunset. It's an experience to watch the horses gallop hard and fast to reach the finish mark and cheer for your lucky one. Never expected food would be the talk of this day, it was quite tasty.!
