★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a beautiful colonial structure built in built in 1847 and was the largest church in Asia when it was built.
There are lot of pictures from the past which you can see.
Main entrance is on the side of Birla planetarium but you can also enter from the back side (gate next to the fine arts college)
Ther is beautiful garden in the front of the church, towards the back there is cafeteria and badminton court also where you play and enjoy.
It would be a nice if you visit on Sunday. Please go if you are visiting in Kolkata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One should visit once. It is just near to M.P birla planetarium. It is a very old church. Nice place to visit. So many visitors coming here to see this. Although it is old it looks very glamorous. Only one thing everybody should remember that loud noise and speed is prohibited here. As it may harm to this old church. It is very nice look.enjoy.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cathedral church is the most largest church in Kolkata located in Dharmatala near Birla planetarium and Victoria memorial . This is beautifully decorated and well maintained . A lots of visitors visit here in the whole year but in the present covid situation the entry ,exit or visiting procedure may change ,no idea . But generally a big sitting capacity in the prayer hall .

It is being decorated and visited the most during Christmas...more out of enthusiasm...
During Christmas installations are also done in the garden...
