★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the shop where any makeup lovers wants to go and am one of them. Today I visited for bought sephora cosmetics.U can find all types of brands in one roof like Sephora,Nars, Clinique,bobbi brown etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newly opened in 2018, cosmetics chain store selling international branded perfumes and cosmetics. Prices are more than their own international website or other online stores for similar branded products. The store is located in newly renovated south city mall.
2019 .. review after a year
Bad experience. The moment you walk in you will be constantly hounded by pushy sales staff who will follow your every step.
Another negative is that discount on perfume (everything else) is marked discreetly with tiny sticker on taster bottles.. what is wrong with prominent display of discount/offers? Many time discount (Italian zest 20% in my case) turns out to be less (17% for Italian zest) when you finally decide to buy.
I ended up buying Davidoff but unlike international counterpart they are here stingy on giving free taster bottles. Some perfume didn’t even have tester to try on. This fact was brought to notice of floor supervisor (again no way to know if she was as there is no badge on her dress) and she just acknowledged it without offering any solution.
Prices for similar perfume can be cheaper in shopper stop, next door. Buyer should check before buying.
A person comes to retail store to experience products in relaxed environment. My experience twice has just turned out to be opposite.i will continue to make essential purchase here (lack of alternative) while bulk of shopping will be done abroad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A horrendous experience at Sephora kolkata today! I bought a clinique Kajal two days back and my unboxing experience wasn’t too good, the first application came off in crumbs which I wasn’t really happy about, when I called Sephora they confirmed they would exchange the product but when I went to the store I had to go person to person and thn finally I was told the product isn’t saleable and there won’t be any exchange!
I have sent a mail to the customer care with the exchange policy and product snaps with intact labels and still waiting for a revert!

There is also a section for men's perfume...??
Its an international brand...
This store has come up in the ground level of SC Mall...said to have all the international brands of beauty products...
Already its attracting a good number of crowd...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been shopping from Sephora Australia for a while and this was the first time I visited Sephora Kolkata with my mom and oh my! What a disappointment. Surprisingly, to find the right shade of foundation, you are supposed to rub the product on your hand not on your face which is not how things work elsewhere. Sephora is a global brand but sadly the Kolkata store doesn’t say so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just loved it. Bought shade 41 and 82. Dying over these shades. Best for Indian skin tone. Soft texture n doesn't dry up but you might need to reapply them as they are transferable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spacious place. The interior decoration is very elegant and can be used for so many occasions. Terrace space is also great for rooftop parties and has an elevator which is an added advantage for elderly people.
