★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice school. Teachers are good. Labs and classrooms are clean and the library is also nice with books on all subjects. The school is well-known for its discipline and good quality question papers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sevasadan English Medium School is like a school must be, disciplined and nurturing students to be good intellectual citizens of the future. Many parents might comment negatively about this school if they do not receive what they expect. But the school has their own set of rules and regulations and is not here to please everyone is the logical explanation given by the authorities against the complaints.
This school's admission process is little tedious, but once a student is enrolled, there is no looking back and one can be assured that the child will be groomed in the best possible way. There is no unnecessary extra work given to kids or no burden of projects or other submissions on parents. They motivate children to do their own tasks and ask parents to be observers or facilitators but not the one's who would work on the tasks.
If for you education is of prime importance, I mean studies, and sports or other activities are of secondary importance than you should opt for this school as here the traditional schooling system is followed.
Having said all above, there are certain flaws, like being too strict or little non supportive at times, which in my opinion are not so serious to be considered for rejecting this school totally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The selection process is supposed to be random, which selects only kids from specific category. That means these people want to inculcate castist issues in children's mind right from 3 years of age. So hopeless the attitude is.. the principal says we value middle class values in principal's address, however she expects a middle class to pay rs 1.10 lakh fees for nursery, the school hardly has or provides any special aminities. School provides no transport from their side. To the top of it, the principal herself is not at all punctual. She comes to office late. People who don't respect other's time should not expect parents to respect theirs. In the office, in the school premises your caste is openly asked directly or indirectly.this in my opinion is very wrong way of selecting kids who are so innocent and who do not know anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had very bad experience with this school. My daughter was studying in this school till 2nd std and then we left the school as my husband got assignment in UK. School told us that if they have vacancy, they will give preference to my daughter when we come back. We had a plan to come back after 2 years, so we reapplied for admission very well in advance. We were taking regular follow up. But the school kept on saying that they don't have any vacancy. In fact we had confirm news that there were couple of vacancies in the school for my daughter's std. And afterwards we came to know that the school admitted 2 new students. We felt very bad. Still cannot figure out the logic, why our application was not considered for admission.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had applied a year ago.. I have basic question on selection process.. Filling up forms with the cast and sub-cast details as all school does. You along with 19 others get opportunity to hear wonderful speech delivered by Principal Mam about school history and then you wait for the list that only gets published physically on the board in the school. Neither child nor parents gets opportunity to see/meet selection staff one on one. They don't have rational criteria of selection that's what I could able to conclude.. All the best to Staff n selected children !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ School admission process is not transparent. They randomly selected Kids for admission on the basis of Cast/sub-cast as per the List of admission published by the school. The said school is full of one specific cast/sub-cast oriented mentality, totally disappointed with such a stupid thought process of the school management. Don’t waste your money and time in the said school, if your surname is other than joshi, Kulkarni, desphande etc.
They have to specifically mentioned in their application form that if you are in a specific cast/sub-cast then only apply for the admission.
Last but not least the school admission process is not transparent, don’t waste your time and money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The values and principles inculcated in me through the 13 years I studied in this school will definitely last a lifetime! All of the teaching faculty always made sure to take an extra step that would benefit and inspire us to become better students and people. The non-teaching staff members are always helpful, polite and accommodative. I also got many opportunities to explore different subjects like science and arts through field trips conducted to IUCAA by the school. Giving the elementary-intermediate drawing exams continues to benefit me everyday!
I am very grateful to be a student of SEMS, learning in the institution has been an extraordinary experience!
