★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend bought an egg palav at the outlet in ESC Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore, and the palav had chicken pieces. On asking the vendor, he said that this comes under non-veg. How can an egg palav have chicken pieces? Does it sound relevant? Egg fried rice doesn't have chicken pieces. If the palav has chicken pieces, then it should be called a chicken palav with an egg. My friend who is not used to eating chicken was totally upset. We did not take photos or complain about this issue to spoil the reputation, but then it is a request to them that they change the name of the item on the board and be very specific about the food sold. Calling the Chicken palav with egg as Egg palav is something to be thought about. Eggetarians, please be aware.
