★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to purchase meat from mudiali meat shop since it's opening day years ago. Now I avoid that shop because too much water used to come from that meat and also smelly and find that meat is sheep meat not goat meat. That is the main reason I stopped visiting that shop and used to go to munna meat shop at tollygung road. Then I shifted to Bangalore. But when I visit Kolkata I found shaahi meat shop at lake road, this shop sells excellent meat. I love that and I do carry to Bangalore because at Bangalore reyoaji goat meat is not available. The owner of that Shaahi meat shop is a very good person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good fresh HALAL meat just remember if you are a non-Indian to remember that “mutton” in India is Goat meat, not lamb. Goat is more tough, less fatty and healthier but you have to adjust how you cook it. Don’t go if you are sensitive/squeamish about animal carcasses that get slaughtered on site ( in back room). Meat was good. Made a good curry!
