β β β β β Traditional restaurant and bar located in main city of Pune off Law College Road, Average service and food taste. This place tough has nice seating arrangement in open air.

β β β β β They have budgerigars ( small sized birds that belong to the parrot ? family). Birds don't stay up after sunset. These people at the restaurant have lights in the cages so that the birds can be "showcased" That's cruel. So when do the birds get to sleep?
Speaks volumes about the owner's attitude towards animals / birds.
Secondly the service - I didn't see a single smiling waiter. They all had - What do you want to eat sad faces.
Just like the budgerigars.
Trapped there and no where else to go.

β β β β β Tables kept in garden. Looks more like a makeshift arrangement than a well planned garden experience.
The way to toilets is through another room which houses a makeshift bar along with assorted junk.
Food was atrocious.
Charges though average did not do justice to the quality of experience.

β β β β β I went to Shangri-la after almost 15 years. It's ambiance is still beautiful with greenery around. It was lunch time but due to big trees around- sitting outside was comfortable. Drawback - Service was slow. drinking water glass bottles should be cleaned. Food was so so. If you want to spend leisurely time with no hurry then this place is good.

β β β β β This place used to be way ahead of its time when I used to come here when I was a child way back in the early 90's. However, the vibe has disappointingly faded away and although there is a lot of well maintained greenery around, the silence and solace is rather dull and melancholy instead. One would associate serenity with a restaurant, but this place simply seems to have lost it. The service too is so terribly lethargic, that we literally thought of cancelling the further order. The staff simply doesn't care to attend. Although the food is rather decent but this place has certainly lost its charm and it's unique place.

β β β β β It's an amazing restaurant with a lot of variety. The continental dishes are the best and the old monk glazed chicken breast is to die for. The mocktails are good enough but nothing special.
The place has an old charm and an ambience which hasn't changed since the 90s (which is a good thing)
The service could have been better though.
