★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aftab's energy, patience and enthusiasm makes him an ideal teacher for all levels (and ages). After 20+years of running and HIIT exercises I switched to Kung Fu both to stay fit and ease back on high impact sports on my joints - as well as to actually learn a martial art at long lost. Aftab has tailored my classes from day 1 working on flexibility and balance - through what I termed 'combat yoga' - before now progressing into more dynamic elements of Kung Fu. He continues to tailor the classes to my weekly progress, pushing me a little further each time. His classes are well structured and truly enjoyable. I already have neighbors asking to join. Absolutely recommend Aftab if you want to start Kung Fu. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shifu Aftaab is an excellent trainer. Very understanding to my level and needs. I never feel rushed or forced or in pain during or after a lesson. My training is targeted at my needs. He also teaches two of my children and they have an absolute blast with him and he engages well with the kids. We are doing 3 times per week for the moment and hope onsustain this for good results.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aaftab has been teaching my kids for the last 4 months. In that time I can see a difference in their strength and body control. He engages with them really well, encourages them and keeps them motivated. He has the perfect balance of serious training and fun. What started as something to expend the kids’ energy during the pandemic has become something they are likely to continue. I can highly recommend him for teaching kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is where I train. There are many schools in the city but this one is truly unique. Experience it for yourself and challenge yourself. My body has changed dramatically and I am so flexible now. Also the community is amazing and so diverse. One of the main reasons I first got started at the academy was because the school has retreats.

I am happy with his approach, tailored for my age and physical condition. My son is also his student, and he is very engaged in his lessons. In this COVID period he does private lessons also. Overall thumbs up.
