Only bar I've seen to refuse customers any further drinks if they think you are drunk. Advance payment is collected before serving any drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a marvel among bars in Kolkata. It's a big open hall only bar in Kolkata where 250 to 300 people drinking together under one big hall. This is the only place where you have to give money first while ordering your drinks. And the ambience is absolutely different than other bars where workers and babus relishing their drinks and mostly discussing about rising modern super power India. I think this bar falls under Heritage properties of Kolkata one should visit to experience the colonial ambience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To me , this the best bar in Kolkata , very old , unique system of prepaid paying and no menu card , it's showing in the scroll bar at the restaurant , snacks are available at a cheap rate from outside vendors

Previously it was quite congested with approximately 300+ seats. Due to pandemic nowadays it's almost half that number which makes customers quite comfortable. Very popular with nearby office people. Overall a nice place to down a few pegs without much pressure on the purse.
