★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a not so good , not so bad ghat in Howrah . From here you can get to babughat , James princep ghat, etc; here evening religious program takes place in Saturdays . Unlike babughat you don't need any fees to enter in this ghat because it's not that busy ghat but still after every 15 minutes a ferry from some other ghat arrives here to take the passengers . Because there isn't any strict checking so many passengers get on the ferry without paying for the ride but to their disappointment the get checked when they reach the other ghat . If you are planning to arrive here early inthe morning then please stop because the gates of this ghat opens at 8 o' clock . And ya please do visit here in the evening as cool winds?️ are sure to make you feel good if you want to refresh your mind or want some ☮️ peace from the monotonous hustle and bustle of city life there are also various Hindu temples on the way to ghat .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the mail ferry ghat after Ramkestapur Ferry Ghat if you go from South Howrah. Sunday closed. You may go only to opposite Babughat from here. The newly renovated ferry ghat is looks awesome. Service is available with 15-30 min interval.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the foreshore road, you can take ferry to Babughat from this ghat. In fact, ferries are the most convenient, cheapest, fastest and most comfortable way to cross over from Howrah to Central Business District of Kolkata. Even at peak hours you won't find much crowd here and ferries ply at regular interval. Government and media agencies should promote ferries as part of its effort to popularise mass transportation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shibpur Ferry ghat, A ferry launch ghat on Howrah side, just opposite of Kolkata High court. It is one of the oldest ferry service on the river Ganga.The tiresome day after landing Kolkata! We decide to settle down a small place in Howrah, since our bikes reached Howrah a couple of days back. We were so tired to pull out our bikes from station warehouse, one of friend misplaced his bike key! Finding a guy to open the bike was bit hard task as everyone where leading us in a different directions.With all the bizarre conditions we found a sprouted home made health drink with lime juice extract exactly near the ghat. Ghat was used to be a open Bath and washing area.
