This is not proper market, many vegetable sellers gather here and sell varieties of vegetable on footpath everyday 6am-1pm on both side of road. Some sellers also do home delivery with thela-ricksaw. You can also get live fish as well as cut-fish (kata maach) at reasonable rate. Although it's mainly vegetable market, few venders also sell fish and freshly cut Chicken. But to get more choice, you need to go Municipal Market, Gorabazar Dumdum Cantonment or Durganagar Station Market.

Well known place for dumdum cantonment people. Sibtala Fish and vegetables market is very good. You will get different types of fish and vegetables. Local people are very cooperative.

Pretty well organised for a market with that small a space. The market rate is better compared to natun bazar. I use both markets since I stay mid distance from both markets.
