Shree Khodaldham Temple - Kagvad

One of the best temples around Rajkot. They’ve got a huge premise which has main temple, prasad counters, dining halls, temple office, pooja office, gazebos, toilets etc. The parking is also huge and easily holds hundreds of cars. They have a couple of electric buggies to help aged people go to the main temple from the entrance. Architecture of the temple itself is beautiful with the main idol being that of Khodiyar maa along with idols of all other deities. One can literally seek blessings of almost all deities. There are 2 dining halls AKA annapurnalayas which serve lunch as well as dinner daily. Saatvik food is served which is really tasty and feels home like. Overall a great religious place to visit.

Khodaldham is the biggest temple of Ma Khodal (also known as Khodiyar Ma) along with other deities with incredible architecture.the total of 650 statues have been erected. Ma Khodal is the patron deity (Kuldevi) of Leuva Patel community, located in Kagvad. The height of the temple is kept 10 feet lower than the Somnath temple (which is Jyotirlinga shrine and considered one of the most sacred temple) to respect its supremacy. This temple has become very popular tourist attraction along with religious place due to its unique architecture and spiritual aura. The temple authorities also provide battery operated vehicles and wheel chairs to pick up and drop off to the entrance for senior citizens. There is a nice cafeteria with very reasonable rates with free tea is available on the temple complex. Nice garden very well maintained. Must visit, if you are in Saurashtra.

One of the best place to visit in Gujarat. It is one of the most visited and best temple in Gujarat. Khodaldham temple Kagvad is one of the most important temples. It has the excellent facility of food, transportation, Darshan, Auditorium and It is literally cleanest temple i have ever seen. The facility of tea and water is provided free for visitors so no need to buy it separately. And many old age people who can't walk properly, for them there is facility of transportation through electric vans and wheel-chair. This facility is available from the gate of the temple till the stairs of the temple. And from the stairs you need to take a wheel-chair. Its walkways are very neat and clean. It has a huge garden called "Shaktivan". Garden has many different types of flowers and plants. Temple is the best place to have peace of mind. There was a pindrop silence inside the temple and in garden also. All of the religious rituals and functions are maintained very excellently by the Khodaldham Temple Trust Kagvad. The best time to visit the temple is the morning and the evening. If you visit this temple then you should take time around 4 to 5 hours and come if you want to explore whole temple. And also if you visit this temple and want to see its grand aarti then come before the time of aarti. If you want to stayback over there then there are many hotels in front of the temples gate. And for stay back over there the temple is making its own rooms for staying over there. I will personally recomend this place because it very nice place to visit.

Exquisite place, most peaceful, beautiful, and one of the cleanest temple of Gujarat. This is really Devine shrine with sweetest fragrance around you because it surrounded by thousands of flowers and beautiful gardens.

The temple is open whole day. Also placed is very beautiful. I suggest to come here after 5pm. So it was Little it of less hot. Place is beautiful. Also they provide breakfast, lunch, dinner. I had lunch. Which is very tasty.

Great work done. Temple is build with so much minor detailing. Modern day they have given old art work. Carving on stone is marvelous. Even they have carved each and every ceiling of temple. Surrounding gardens are very well maintained. One can find good eating options. Hotels are available for stay. Great clean peaceful place.

Temple with huge garden space, very well maintained. Best part is they have Taken care of elderly and handicapped people by providing electric golf carts and wheelchairs to pickup and drop at entrance of temple. Food facility available at reasonable rate. Cleanliness is taken care of. Overall good experience ?

I would rate it as SEVEN STAR. concept and design is worth a visit. I admire the architect and the trust who have a vision of this scale to translate into reality. Everything is in place, precise, perfect. The stone carving, is intricate, even in today's times. All the idols of goddesses are very well carved out - you will bow down to the aura. Do not miss this temple visit. ???
