A holy place to feel the essence of Sai Baba, his samadhisthal and a divine experience. We went on a public holiday and hence the crowd was too much. But since we did an online booking, that specific queue was lesser than the other ones. Apart from viewing the samadhi and asking for divine blessings its also to see people coming from all of the country and even outside with the belief of well being. Sai baba is giving massage to world sardha and saburi.

I went on re opening after COVID ..I must say it has exceeded all levels of management...pass is compulsory and no leniency is shown w.r.t. this one ..only few people all allowed to move inside main shrine for darshan ..they keep a note of number of people entering and during my visit only 70 were allowed in one stance...no prashad is accepted there right now neither distributed....

This is one the largest visited Hindu temples of India. Due to its proximity with Pune we often visit it when wish. The covid situation has for sure caught up some business strategies around the place for Darshan and all, you cannot really blame on it if you participate yourself on it, but the concern if of the exploitation of the process and mandates put in place. As a religious place and holy sanctuary, definitely a visit as and when possible. There is calmness you feel when you gaze the idol of Shri Sai.

Located at a distance of 122 Km from Nasik in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, Shirdi is the home of Sai Baba. It is believed that Sai Baba arrived at Shirdi in 1858 and spent 60 years of his life here until he attained salvation in 1918. Sai Baba is popularly known as the 'child of God', as he always spread the message of universal brotherhood. Apart from his shrine, there are many small temples in the complex, such as Chavadi, Samadhi Mandir, Dwarkamai. Shani Shignapur is located at a distance of 72km from Shirdi.
