★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sri Swaminarayan, the founder of the Swaminarayan Sampraday, established temples, known as mandirs (Temple), as part of his philosophy of theism and deity worship. These mandirs are known as Swaminarayan Hindu temples.
You can reach Swami Narayan Mandir (maintained by Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS)) by bus/ Taxi/ pool car from howrah (Distance 22.6 km.) or Airport (37.6 km.) or babughat(18.7 km approx.)
This temple was opened for public from 2014. Here you observe the praiseworthy beauty of huge area of sandstone work. All part of this template is well decorated and well maintained. The entire complex is clean and well maintained and it has the traditional feel of a temple with devotional fervour. It is very nice at evening time. You will be feeling like to sit there for long without thinking anything. This temple has its own selling counter from where you can have good incense stick. Remove your shoe before entering the temple and shoe rack are provided my mandir committee. Make sure the phone is in silence mode. Well managed car parking is free here.
Accommodation is also available at here Rs.500 (approx.) per day.

Rules of the temple:
Photography/Videography is prohibited on the Mandir Complex.
No food or drinks are allowed inside the Mandir premises.
No pets are allowed inside the complex.
Smoking is not allowed in the premises include parking area.
Stick dress codes are followed here.

Here has a large cantine where u can taste many types of foods and also South Indian foods can got here....... Visit this place for one day trip
