β β β β β Vadlo is a great place to have some unlimited thalis. The best part is that you have a different menu each day. So, you are sort of spoilt for choice.
The restaurant wasn't too crowded for a weekend lunch. Unfortunately, the air conditioners weren't switched on when we entered and it took a while for the place to cool down. Vadlo is decorated with various trinkets that give you a village-like environment.
I generally avoid Gujarati thalis as they always are on the sweeter side in Mumbai. But not Vadlo. The restaurant serves well seasoned homestyle food on a giant plate. I loved the starter items such as Hara Bhara Kebab. The kadi was slightly sweet and that's just how I like it. Those at my table who tried the daal weren't happy with it. You are served with multiple vegetables, different types of rotis, a kadi, a daal, some sweets, multiple starters, two types of rice, and chaas.
Service starts out very slow but they do manage to pick up the pace. Servers come to your table at regular intervals.
The food at Vadlo is well worth the price and it's perfect for large family gatherings.

β β β β β It's the best place in sama baroda to have gujarati food. I love their serving style and also the menu they plan. They have unlimited fix gujarati thali with chaat and sweets and chaas. Also they serve mineral water with thali without any extra cost and taste of food is superb from sabji to dal to kadhi to sweet.
U can enjoy gujarati thaali here by sitting in old style khaatla/bed

β β β β β I Visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration. The food was okay not upto the mark. The service was very slow and it seemed the waiters were least interested to serve. The food was not upto the mark. The bhindi sabzi was completely sour. When asked for onions, I was served old onions that must have been cut a day prior. Worst experience.

β β β β β I have been goon to many kathiyawadi restaurants but after I visited this restaurant the atmosphere is unique and it gives a typical kathiyawadi vibes like you can sit on khatiya or there's a sofa and not only that they made a platform like structure so that you can sit on floor. The taste is soo good. As I mentioned that I gone to many kathiyawadi restaurants there sabjis are so sweet but the vadlo kathiyawadi restaurants taste is awesome taste of Sabjis are not sweet they are proper and the rates of each thali's are reasonable. I will recommend this restaurant strongly.
