★ ★ ★ ★ ★ श्री विश्वेश्वर मंदिर, सदाशिव पेठ हौद, पेरुगेट, सदाशिव पेठ रस्ता, पुणे येथे हे सुरेख प्राचीन मंदिर आहे. हे मंदिर साधारणतः सोळाव्या शतकातील आहे. श्री. रघुनाथ नारायण सहस्त्रबुद्धे यांच्या मालकीचे हे मंदिर आहे. या महादेव मंदिरा समोर हौद आहे. सध्या तो हौद बुजवलेला दिसून येतो. श्री महादेव मंदिरासाठी पाण्याची व्यवस्था असावी, म्हणून पेशवाईच्या काळात श्री नाना फडणीस यांनी या विश्वेश्वर मंदिरासमोर हौद बांधला आहे. आजही तो हौद पाहता येतो, अशी माहिती सध्या मंदिराची व्यवस्था पाहणारे श्रीयुत महादेव वामन दाते (वय ७२ वर्षे) यांनी सांगितली. हे अतिशय प्राचीन आणि सुरेख मंदिर आहे.

There is a tank in front of this Mahadev temple. At the moment, it looks like the tank is full. There should be water for Shri Mahadev Mandir, so during the Peshwa period, Shri Nana Fadnis has built a tank in front of this Vishweshwar Mandir. The tank can still be seen today, said Mr. Mahadev Vaman Date (age 72) who is currently managing the temple. This is a very ancient and beautiful temple.
