They are 2 sisters: MahaMaya and MahaLaya.
Must visit temple for everyone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please don't fall for the reviews. There is literally nothing to see. Just two sets of 12 pillars and that's it. The pillars do not have any pretty carvings and there is no mandir. Just two devis in front of the khambas.
I expected a temple/something atleast but this place had nothing. It was a waste of time & hope. Please skip this if you plan a visit to Ujjain. It took me roughly just 8 steps to walk in and out of this place.

The Emperor Sri Vimkramadhitya used to worship these two incarnations of Sri Shakthi daily before entering this capital city, and people believe that these two deities converse with the emperor directly and give suggestions to run the kingdom.
And History says even today the Ujjaini district Administration perform Dassara festival in the name emperor Shri Vikramadhitya

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is located nearby Mahakaleshvar Jyotirlinga..it is on the main road...very old temple...it you go to ujjain pls visit this temple..it is amazing..it is in walking distance from Mahakaleshvar mandir..nearby there is main market also..you can do shopping there...many restaurants are available to get you delicious food..
