R	Rahul The Creator on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ હર હર મહાદેવ! One of the nine temples of Mahadev (Lord Shiva) in Vadodara. There are stairs to stepdown to the Shivling-Gruh. Along with chanting mantras and worshipping lord Shiva, To dive in some place where you can meet divine nature & it's wonderful creatures, you must visit here. There is vishwamitri river flowing behind the temple, which is known for allegator & crocodile. On the river side (beside the temple), there are stairs available to step down to river and readymade stones beside to seat on! But REMEMBER, DON'T GET INTO WATER - there can be presence of crocodile, which we witnessed while we visited. So it's recommended to leave the last bunch of stairs and seat prior to that. Also while you seat near Ghat, and may hear some people talking or any crowd/group cheering, than don't wonder, the other side of that river is Kamati Baug Garden, The Zoo of Vadodara! So please visit Kamnath Mahadev at least once, with bicycle, bike or car - whichever you choose. હર હર મહાદેવ!
J	Jignesh Solanki on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kamnath Mahadev Temple is loacated just behind the Ghats of Vishwamitri River passing nearby from Sayaji Baug (Kamati Baug). The Temple was built in early 19th Century and consists of 8 Decorative Idols which is in position of playing musical instruments. A Statue of Lord Hanuman with Anjani Devi and a Musical Instrument from Muslim World ‘Dilruba’ catches special Attention. In Early Decades of the 20th century, thousands of devotees to the temple used to bath on the ferry. The temple is also famous for it Designs and Decorations with centers of religious faith. There is Lion statue at peaks of all Three temples. The temple has Decorated Idols of AshtaDigpal, Vyaal on each side. Also there are small peaks on Peaks of Temples. The outer appearance of the temples is also too attractive. During the Rule of Maharaja Fatehsinhrao Gaekwad during Years 1778 – 1798, this area was developed quickly. It is also said that Members of the Royal Family used to come here for Prayers.
