β β β β β It's more than 100 years old temple built in 1915 of Goddess Banashankari (one of the form of Devi Parvathi). Very powerful place , lot of devotees come here every Tuesday and Friday for doing Aarathi to Devi and get the blessings

β β β β β A very spacious temple. Goddess is powerful and almost a crowded place all the time.
Priests are very friendly and they provide required info to you.
I recently went for vehicle pooja and found the priest very helpful. He did pooja with genuine interest.
Attached pic shows things to be carried for vahan pooja. They ask rs 301 dakshine for car pooja which is very minimal in Bangalore.
Vahana pooja place is near Navagraha temple inside, near ΰ²
ನΰ³ΰ²¨ ದಾಸΰ³ΰ²Ή.
But problems are non priest staffs like few security guards, seva counter staffs - they are rude and unprofessional.
As it comes on main road and near signal - it's always jam packed area due to too many vehicles.
There's enough space for car and bike parking inside. No parking charge. Ignore if security guards ask for money when you take out car.
Overall, A must visit place for everyone.

β β β β β The goddess Bhanshankari amma is powerful. And many people lite Deepas in Lemons, and give Harathi to amma saying that their wishes would fulfill. I visited on 23rd February, 2022. There is a big parking place which is free. Just beside the Banshankari metro and 2mins walk from Banshankari signal stop road. I suggest to go in the evening after 6PM, so that you will see the temple in lights and also Radham seva, where Goddess idol is put in charriot, and make 3 rounds in the temple. So much attractive and peaceful place. And the temple construction is highlight..

β β β β β Located in Southern Bangalore, the Banashankari temple is one of the most popular places of worship in Bangalore City. Devoted to the goddess Banashankari, this temple is visited mostly during Rahukala time which is believed to be an unfavorable time as per Hindus. A visit here is believed to relieve people of the adverse fate as well as the hardships. The prayers to Goddess Banashankari are offered by lighting oil lamps in semi cut lemon peels, whose pulp is removed.Do visit this temple for an insight into Hindu religious faith and customs.

β β β β β A very beautiful and peaceful place to come and pray. It has Prasad (blessed food) where you can sit and eat under shade. (Please don't click picture inside, don't litter, wait for your turn when you're in a line and please be respectful!)
