Besides daily Pujan a large Mela (festival) organized during Asoka Astami a day before Rama Nabami. People give Sradha to their fore father's. A large numbers of devoties come that day to worship Lord Siva. It is believed that the Sradha done that day is equivalent to Sradha at Prayag (Alhabad)

Very beautiful and calm place. Away from the crowd, built just next to the river Baitarani. This is a very old temple of Lord Shiva estimated to be around 1000 years old atleast. The temple is visited by several hundred visitors everyday and Prasad is cooked here everyday too. The surrounding is very beautiful and serene. A must visit place if you are in Jajpur.
