Almost 6 km away from the main city. You can reach this railway station by Autorickshaw or state transport bus or private hired vehicle.
Station is well maintained by konkan railway but facilities for passengers need to be upgraded.
Do check railway timetable online before trying to reach this station or else you shall be stuck up in case of emergency.

It has two platforms which are decently clean, there is a shop for some general items and also a refreshment centre on platform 1 which is also equipped with a restroom. It can be used to reach places like Malvan if you're a tourist. Autorickshaws are available outside the station. Trains like Diva passenger, Mandovi and konkan Kanya express, Tutari express and also some special trains have halts here.
