★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the good railway station in Konkan region.It is native place of former Maharashtra CM Narayan Rane.This place has an engineering college and a medical college.Kankavli is a small town with educated people mostly engineers.ST bus stand is just 1 .5 km from here and rick available with share auto price of 10.Lots of small eateries available near station due to engineering students crowd.

If a train is late, seating capacity is not adequate and uncomfortable.
Also station master could not be contacted in respect train delay.
Overall it was a good experience, yet a lot of scope for improvement

Rickshaw is very very expensive in Kankavli Railway station ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My review could be biased as it's my hometown.. the only concern is available resources are not being maintained and utilized, the example is escalator.. you will get good snacks like Malvani Chivda and Khaja! My personal favorite chilled Kokum Sarbat @₹10..
