250-300 stairs and after that u will find a temple of Maa Barunei....
Family Frds are vising here for picnic and feel the nature....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommended to hike for 30-40min nd in the destination it just a small water well ...not even sure wheather it has really some history or not behind that. The water body is of radius 3-4 inch only ..too small though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has good scenic experience. But if we want to justify the name of the place, there is nothing like that. There is a small cave like structure, which is natural also , it get filled with water during rain and people considers that water and place to be a holy one. But it is good for hiking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sitakund is located at 45 min trek from Barunei temple. The track is very narrow and mostly covered by thick grasses. You need to be extra careful for the snakes as we spotted one.
The kund is very small in diameter yet very deep. It is people's belief that it is connected to Bindusagar lake in Bhubaneswar approximately 30 kms from that place.
The place offers a nice calm environment to sit and relax- away from the bustling city. It is a place where you can meditate.
We clicked few pictures sitting there on the rocks. The evening view was amazing. The rocks are slippery during the rainy season so you need to be extra careful.
Please do not litter the place with plastic bottles or wrappers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a excellent exposure of rock and you can click some good pics there and there is nothing a big interesting thing as well a KUNDA. There is a small water storage area with an area of approximately 5 sq.m and I have not any knowledge about the depth. In myth, people are taking that there is cave underneath the water body. That's all about this area. Please go there and enjoy your journey.

?︎︎︎ Recommend to go on Summer & Winter??.
?︎︎︎It's Risky to go on Rainy season?️, cuz the path to reach here is very slippery?↘️ you can't even walk properly & Narrow about 1 ft. only.
?︎︎︎ And in rainy season?️, the paths are completely covered with the Grasses ??? which disable ?the path & there's a greater chance you slipped badly & Direct fall into the ditch.
