★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old railway colony built in the year of 1970s reconstructed in 2005 ,mainly govt.workers alloted to stay. Some beautiful 1 2 storied house are their less than 1 minute sodepore railway station and big local market .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of the two earliest housing complexes built by Government of West Bengal. It's located right beside Sodepur railway station. Each appartement block has 16 flats divided equally in 4 parts. The living condition is not great, the planning is highly motivated by feudal thinking and the smallest of the flats have only 1 room. These flats are hardly taken care of and the complex also has very little security with outsiders roaming around always.
