Neat, fast, delicious food here. Loved the avalakki baath, shavige baath and idli vade. Don't forget their delicious jamoon when you are here. Cheers ?

It's definitely on of the best places in Bangalore for breakfast, the taste was just amazing, really enjoyed the food. Huli Avalakki is a must try.

This place is famous for its chutney, it's good but i felt it's just overhyped. The vade is crispy and tastes great, shavige bath tastes good too. Overall must visit if you are looking for some south Indian light food.

This is one of the best places which serves idli vade chutney combo. The idlis are very soft and just melts with every bite. Apart from these, shavige bath and kesari bath are winners too. Filter coffee is amazing with all these items. Overall, this is a tiny breakfast heaven which is very budget friendly.

One of my go to places in Basavanagudi, South Kitchen makes the best Shavige Bath I've had (outside my house of course ?). It's mildly spiced, and I love digging through it for small pieces of green chili which I love. If you ever visit South Kitchen, do order the Shavige Bath first! On a recent visit, I tried the Uppit as well. It was like a Rava version of the Shavige Bath, both in taste and look. If you have the time and the appetite, do as I did and order both ? The menu is very limited here and it's one of those rare places that doesn't serve Dosa. But that doesn't stop its loyal fans, me included from regular visits!

Decent South Indian hotel for breakfast, brunch & dinner. Though they don't use onion for any of the dishes, they tastes best. It's a hygenie place. Prices are decent. Usually busy in the evening. Shavige bath, Idli, Avalakki, Coffee is my personal favorite. Located in the busy area, next to N.R.Colony bus stand. Staffs are polite with customers and service is quick. One of the recommended place to try the delicious food.
