Most peaceful and historical temple, very clean and close to nature, you find devotion, not like other commercial fund collection temples you don't find many Hundi's to offer money and charges to Footwear Stand, or vehicle parking charges, I strongly recommend to visit this Temple.

Have been to this quite old and important temple in Basavanagudi area whenever we have visited adjacent Sri Subramanya Matha. The premises is vast, clean and serene. There's a separate enclosure or Gudi made to each of the 9 Navagraha moorthis, which I consider is a specialty. Worth visiting whenever you are around this place.

Historical Shiva temple. Lord Shiva worshipped as Mallikarjuna here. Temple architecture is superb. Along with Mallikarjuna swamy, Lord Ganesha and Bramarabha Devi Idols installed here. It's really peaceful and devine inside. Outside the Temple, you will find Subramanya, Dakshina Murthy, Navagraha and Adi Shankaracharya's Temples. Very recently they have added small temples to each and every graha out of Navagrahas. You will find a Yagashala next to the temple. There are many sacred trees including Banyan tree. You'll feel vibrations of Lord Shiva through Mother Nature here!!!!!!! One Of the ancient and important landmark of Namma Bengaluru.

This temple was one of the Old Shiva's temple in Bangalore and now it was renowned well. The place is very much quite and spacious and has function hall for several activities. This place has good parking area within temple premises and good greenery as well. The temple is under Karnataka government grant(Mujarai dept). Read the history of this temple in attached pictures.

Mallikarjuna Shiva Temple in Basaralu was built by King Vira Narasimha II of Hoysala Empire in the Mandya district. The temple is one of the best ornate example of Hoysala style of architecture with decorative walls of the shrines and decorative towers.

A small but beautiful gem of a temple. Not overrun by commercialization. Has plenty of space with trees and an unhurried ambience. The Temple is cleanly maintained and has an attached function hall. There are clean Western style toilets which are a great relief especially for the elderly.
