This temple is believed to be one of the very old temple built in the time of Reddy Rajus era. It is a very famous temple of Lord Shiva in this region.
Best time to visit this place is "Shivaratri". Many people gather and celebrate the procession of the lord veereshwara swamy. Locally they call it as veerullu. The place is so beautiful because the near by water reservoir and palm trees and greenery. Watching sunset in the evening is an awesome experience!!!
