Good college and infrastructure..Green campus .Clubbed college for Science, Art's and Commerce students . Students from all over Biochemistry Hons Is one of the wing branch of Venky(Sri Venkateswara College).Iam very happy to get Admission in Biochemistry Hons in this college.All the Labs are integrated one.

Sri Venkateswara College is one of the top colleges in DU. It is also one of the only colleges to feature in top 10 rank in all the three streams- Arts, Science and Commerce. It's popularly known as Venky. It is undoubtedly a college any DU aspirant would like to get into. The infrastructure is good enough. The magnanimity of Venky could be imagined by the title it's been given by the South Campus Peeps, "Stephens of South Campus"

Very nice. Huge campus. Very modern design and facilities. Faculty is also very cooperative and experienced and knowledgeable.

This is my favourite place because I've spent more than 30 years in this college campus. This is so calm and peaceful. Clean and green.

Sri Venkateswara College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi established in 1961 in New Delhi, India. It is managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams & UGC and awards degrees under the purview of the University of Delhi. The college offers courses both at the undergraduate level and the postgraduate level. Vocational courses and short-term add-on courses that serve as significant supplement to the academic profiles of the students are offered by the college. Admissions are done purely based on merit and as per the Delhi University norms. It was ranked by NIRF at 11th rank in the college category in 2021. It was founded under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust, as a result of the efforts of Durgabai Deshmukh, who was a member of the constituent assembly of India and founder of the Andhra Education Society in Delhi (1948). She approached K. L. Rao (Member of Parliament) and C. Anna Rao (CEO of TTD), after realising the acute shortage of a degree-level college in the city. The primary objective of the college was to cater to the education needs of students from South India MUDASIR

Sri Venkateswara college is one of the best DU college in all over India. It's environment, infrastructure, greenery, canteen,and crowd all are just so brilliant and exotic. Highly recommend college if you want to enjoy your college life

For Pgs read my third paragraph of this review. Really this college lie on very prime location. Durga bai desmukh south campus metro(Pink line) station touches the road side boundary of the college, one may get directly into the college from metro station exit, through the college's backside entrance. And also nearest bus depot is "Satayaniketan". One may easily find PGs, cafe, hangout places, stationary, photocopy shops just in front of the college, people often call this place as "Satya". College comprise couple of buildings as you can also see in the satelight images. Inside college one may find rock garden, botanical garden, stationary shop, maggi shop besides canteen and yes also Andhra Bank south campus branch. So, in front side of this college there is a colony named Satya niketan (Satya in short), moti bagh is situated colony after Satya niketan, there you may find some of the pgs. There are two ways to find pgs.. 1- By the help of broker/property dealers: they will ask you some amount of money(around half of the money you pay for pg, it may vary broker to broker) only for first month when you live in some pg. 2- Directly contacting owner- you can make a better deal in this case. You might be thinking, why don't everyone visit directly to owner? The reason is that many owners have not advertised for their pgs, dealer don't take money from them for the same. So, in that case you can grab those pgs only through dealers. I personally visited this place, hygienic wise area is okay- okay, I won't say there is too much cleanliness, all the facilities like grocery stores, transport, doctor facilities are there. For girls, one may find a descent pg @ 6-8k without mess. If money is not barrier for you then you can also go at higher price range. ##Case study: I directly contacted a owner for girls PG price range was 6k person. It was safe cleanliness was maintained inside the pg, a maid everyday visits PG for cleaning washroom/toilets and for brooming. Maid can also cook food for you on your demand (but would take 1200 INR for the same for one month). Furnitures present inside pg were a bed, almirah, table and chair with cooler and fan, separate bathroom- washroom for each room, common freezer and kitchen for all the room, RO purifier. For boys PGs ranges from 4-6 k per head, you can also go on higher price range for more luxury. Basic furniture would already be there, like bed, table, chair. Case study: one of my friend got a PG, with one room+separate kitchen+ separate bathroom+balcony. All room was descent and marble on the floor. There was no other family on that floor. Back after years of time, Very silent due to corona but it's good to experience the calmness of place..... But i dont have much good memories attached with this college - but Still love you my Alma mater
