Later on I was absorbed as a staff and I find myself that this rehabilitation set up is unique compared to other rehabilitation centers in various aspects like behavior, tough but friendly and disciplined atmosphere, coordination among clients with volunteers/staffs, unique therapies which has helped me to change myself completely and I find that I am fortunate to be a part of Team St. Joseph's.

St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation Centre & Relief Services….
A second home to me, miracle happens here. As an alcoholic from college life I was puling myself towards doom. On the age of #42 giftedly I dragged my steps in front of the doorstep of St. Joseph’s. Now, the same person after; almost 8’months got a respectful job which I comfortably pursue from the centre. With social acceptance, and heartiest love & respect from my family, friends and colleagues. Those who threw away me in past just because I was an alcoholic. It’s not a magic, the reason behind is nothing but the treatment which I am getting from St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation Centre & Relief Services. By adorable care of the Authority, Officials & Staff, Session Lecturer, my Mentor, Doctors & Medical Team , Fellow Brothers, over all my Psychologist. It’s like a resurrection for me…. My heartiest thanks & gratitude to all of you, Especially Mr. & Mrs. Banerjee.

Probably the most appropriate title that is laconic and self-explicit depicting my life's journey.
Time and again the vicious cycle of substance abuse had jeopardized my life. When despair and hopelessness had crippled me, it was St. Joseph’s that gave me an opportunity to resuscitate my life.
A homely abode with adequate set up, necessary amenities, advanced therapies in cognizance along with well trained associates make it A Home of Blessings for Many.

They give patient hearing to the problems being shared by the family members of their clients and treat them accordingly. That gets a more profound meaning when there is no home left in the first place. After 40yrs of active substance-abuse resulting in the loss of every support system, the open doors of St.Joseph's was like a prayer come true. But it was never a bed of roses. Me being a very difficult & demanding person, the principle of comforting the disturbed and disturbing the comfortable was implemented. I was left with no option than to change. I did and today I'm successfully leading my life in the mainstream. This was no mean feat and alone I would've failed once again. Hats off to the tenacity, perseverance and love of St.Joseph's management & staff and co-inmates for not allowing me to get into the shell of complacency and running life on self will, which has always let to my downfall. In humility I extend my thanks and gratitude. God bless.
