β β β β β It's an excellent place to buy Fish on wholesale rates..its near to Tollygunge Metro station..around 5/6 kilometres...or about 5/7 mins travel if got your own transport like car/bike etc..in the early morning..you should be there by 5 am to get the first lot...

β β β β β It is a huge market basically for vegetables. Farmers bring vegetables directly from their farms. So they are fresh and inexpensive. The only problem is that the market is very congested. Since there is very little space for the market itself, most of the venders are on the street and this causes severe traffic jam greatly inconveniencing travelers. They should shift the market to somewhere else where more space is available.
