★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the Old age home today and I have to say that this is the first Old Age home where everyone seemed so happy. It was shocking to see the smile on their faces. When we entered we met with Charlotte (Im not sure if she is a nun) who is one of the trustees at the St. Jude's Helping Hand Home. She showed us around the entire place. Currently there are only 15 inmates (there used to be 30) and all 15 look content and well taken care of. They are now constructing more rooms so that they can take in more Elderly people.
In the photos, the place looks a little run down but it's only because of the construction of more rooms & renovation of the existing building. Im sure in a few months the place will look real grand.
I sincerly urge more people to visit this place and please do carry a little something for the people there and if you cant afford it then your company and a little prayer would suffice for these less fortunate elderly of ours.
