★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It used to be a big deal back in time when there were only single screens.. Now that we got taste of the multiplexes with big & clear screens, comfortable recliner seats.. It is hard not to feel bad about this place.. The whole seating arrangements are dirty.. Sound system needs to be upgraded.. Don't go for the corner seats.. There will be decorations on the wall with spit.. Major upgrades needs to be done.. I won't mind spending 50 rupees more for cleaner & more comfortable seats..

The place have huge hall.
Washroom isn't that good but still manageable.
Food quality is good enough and price is also ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has a #Nostalgic vibe as soon as you enter it (Maybe because it's build has been kept intact and seems as Nothing has changed). It has got real big screen as compared to new age high end cinema halls. Not sure about the folks of this decade, but is you're 90's (Ahh! I may be exaggerated this a little ?) you'd truly love this palace!! Just a simple request to the Support staff of ?️???️, If possible, please check on the Brightness and Contract of the Picture ?️!! THANKS ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the sensational theatre halls in Kolkata since the ninties. It's location has been shifted a no of times. But right now it's situated at the heart of the North Kolkata, Hatibagan at the crossing of Grey steet and Bidhan Sarani. The architecture of this hall is very unique. The hall has a front stall, rear stall and a balcony. Seating capacity is also huge. The same is also used for theatre, that's why probably the balcony seats are less costly compared to the rear stall. The AC in the hall is comfortable, screen is wide seats are good and well decorated, sound quality is very good. The movie tickets are pocket friendly benchmarking the quality and facilities with the other halls. The only considerable issue lies with the narrow entrance and exit at the balcony. The people who sits on the balcony will also have a problem of not getting to see a little top mid portion of the screen due to having two focus lights at the front of the screen. In a nutshell, it's one of the most demanding movie theatres right now in North Kolkata.

Star theatre in Kolkata is one such heritage theatre that is visited by people to admire its beauty and the history attached to it. Not just movie shows but several plays are also staged regularly at Star Theater Kolkata.
Communication is so easy, near Hatibagan. Please wear a Mask..?

And loved the movie Tadap too ?, love for Ahan Shetty ❤❤❤
