★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Useless as no one picks-up the phone mentioned on website. I am presently in Chennai and calling every hour on all the phone numbers (Whole bank goes on lunch at the same time!) Moreover, very bad customer service even if you visit their branch. I will not even rate them 1 star! Even their managers are helpless!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A government bank that did not want business. Told me it would take 6 weeks to make an account because he was just lazy like the rest of India. I then went next door and opened an ICICI bank account same day and much better customer service. This bank is pathetic and the Government should audit themselves and fire the scumbags in this branch. I had everything required to open an account but they denied me. They also have extremely poor currency transfer. If everywhere else is giving 55 rupees per Canada dollar they will just give 50-51 rupees.

The only good thing - they will get your documents photocopied for free.
