★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to share my experience with this branch of SBI. I am a doctor working in AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.
Recently I went to this branch to deposit a cheque.
It was nonhome branch both to the depostier & recipient. The official I talked with gave me multiple explanations regarding why he can't accept the cheque for further proceedings. The reasons were ruthless. Lastly, he told that the signature on the cheque was not matching with the specimen signature without checking it on system. Basically, he wanted to fool me as if I am.
I must say this attitude is not acceptable. Though, processing a cheque in a nonhome branch for both the recipient and depositer is technically a bit challenging. But, you can't say NO to it. It's in your job profile how can you consider me to be so fool.
I don't understand how so many people have opened their account in SBI irrespective of this kind of poor service and all...
Pathetic condition of bank & so it's lazy employees.
