★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kalighat Branch is situated near the Kalighat tram depot in Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Road. The branch functions on the ground floor of the building and provides all banking needs of the customers. There are plenty of chairs for the waiting customers. The staff are helpful and attempt to serve the customers within reasonable waiting period. There is an electronic display board to call the customers as per token number issued from the machine. They have locker facilities also. There is no parking space near the branch. There is a separate ATM machine also attached to this branch. This branch often remains crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Current service manager ( Mr Pritam) of this branch ( as on August- December 2020) and also Mr Manish is extremely attentive, fast and helpful. Also co-operates fully in case of senior citizens., so that they do not get held up in this pandemic period.
Other staffs are also good, although a bit slower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family is one of the oldest customer of this branch from day-1 of its opening and I am local resident too, still the bank employees and the manager behaves rudely. I had to close my 6 current accounts, and 5 savings accounts just because of their unprofessional and rude behavior. The frequent change of bank employees also creates too much confusion.
