★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good building. Administrative persons behaves very good. People need not visit the office needlessly for the reason of providing online government services. Thanks for the thinking of Mrs. Mamata Banerjee government. Filtered drinking facility is very good. And i personally thanks to everyone behind this for being this facility.
Minus point-
1. Front portion get water blocked for bad water drainage syatem. Need to improve immodiately.
2. Dalal raj especially in motor vehicle section is still now active. Reason behind this- is for some bad unfair public servant of this department. For their personal economical profit, they run this program. S.D.O. must look after this portion very strictly.
3. Toilet and urine needs to be cleaned regularly. Most of this are in broken or unusable condition. This is new India. It should not conditioned like rohinga camp bathroom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New Building of old SDO office.. now it looks much more better and classy ... The office is very much responsive and the staffs are very much co operative . They also have their courts inside them.
Outside their is the RTO office. There is a plan of extending the building much more.
Many department has now came under this roof after it's construction which is very much helpful for civilians!!

Paschim Medinipur district is divided into the following administrative subdivisions, after separation of Jhargram subdivision from the district in 2017.
Kharagpur subdivision has 10 police stations, 10 community development blocks, 10 panchayat samitis, 99 gram panchayats, 2,679 mouzas, 2486 inhabited villages, 1 municipality and 5 census towns. The single municipality is at Kharagpur. The census towns are: Balichak, Chaulia, Deuli, Kharagpur Railway Settlement and Kalaikunda. The subdivision has its headquarters at Kharagpur.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This office is having some part operational, other in construction phase. The logistics of the office is gud but the road inside are full of potholes which are full of water. The office inside and outside are full of brokers which makes the making license issuance work very costly. Full of corrupted official. You really have no option but to use the brokers and get their work done. The canteen is also unhygienic.
